hip hop rapper

[edit]

There has been rap before hip-hop. Why doesn't it make sense?--Urthogie 17:41, 19 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

african-american father

[edit]

If his father has not lived in the USA (or another North- or South-American country) he is not african-american.. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 62.16.233.102 (talk) 21:15, 23 February 2007 (UTC).[reply]

I think his father was African-American. Calling the artist "Afro-Swede" might be a bit of a stretch, though. 惑乱 分からん * \)/ (\ (< \) (2 /) /)/ * 12:54, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

His father is African-American, born in the US. His mother is also American, born in the US. He has an american passport. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Poperec (talkcontribs) 08:50, 8 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Language

[edit]

Wikipedia is intended to be encyclopædic. Bearing that in mind, it might be a good idea to change the phrasing of this article, particularly the introductory paragraph, to something more orthodox. This is perhaps not the place for "the MC who even your grandparents have heard of." True, but hardly the way to put it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.88.154.116 (talk) 23:24, 25 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
