The writing on the back of the 'Starving of the Saqqara' figure is Byblos script.

Examples of it have been found in Lebanon, Italy, Megiddo, Egypt (Wadi el-Hol) and Greece.76.191.150.36 (talk) 04:36, 15 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Do you have a source?--Auric talk 14:20, 15 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Can the country or geographical locality be added to the display location. Jackiespeel (talk) 09:54, 2 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

There's a photo of the writing on the back of the statue at Concordia (Montreal) University's website, if you go there and search for 'Starving of the Saqqara,' you should find it. Compare the signs on the statue to the list of signs in the Wikipedia article 'Byblos script.' 76.191.150.36 (talk) 01:02, 16 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

There is no picture of the statue.

[edit]

Could someone please add a picture of the statue? This would be helpful, thank you. 2601:447:D17C:3340:2541:F905:6793:379C (talk) 22:53, 10 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
