I tried to find and online version and didnt manage.I mean,the book is 214 years old,you CANT tell me its not in the public domain SOMEWHERE.

It is almost certainly public domain everywhere. There are copies in Internet Archive and Wikimedia Commons, and a transcription is being worked on in wikisource. -- Beardo (talk) 17:59, 8 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Do we know the original?

So, the article is clear, Teuthold's translation is deeply faulty. Yet, I notice that even the most recent De Valancourt edition is based on his text. Do we know if the German original survives and could be given a better translation? --Svartalf (talk) 11:57, 12 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
