The article mentions the short story that was rewritten to become the first chapter, but it does not mention that the earlier novel, Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World (1985) is the same story from a different point of view. According to Wikipedia's article on Hard-Boiled, a new English translation of that novel is due for release in December 2024. Runtape (talk) 03:27, 23 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
