Why does this section of the lake need or merit an individual article? Incidentally, there are at least several other lakes in New England that use the term "the broads" or "the broad lake" to describe big open areas. Nathan T 21:18, 1 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The federal Geographic Names Information System has listed only The Broads in New Hampshire in its database.[1].– Gilliam (talk) 21:28, 1 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
