Fifth species

[edit]

I don't think I did the "external link" properly. My apologies. I found a better source for the fifth species and added it along with the new information. The information is also available on the coml website (in the images section with a short paragraph description), but as the site is in flash, I cannot figure out how to point to that particular page. I understand the fox ref was not as clear as it should have been. Hopefully this is better. Cmiych (talk) 07:45, 27 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, that text makes it a lot clearer that this is a fifth (presumably as yet unnamed) species. I've formatted your addition slightly differently, and made the link a little more direct (n.b., it's coml.org; I tried the URL you gave, and it was, er..., something else). I don't know how widely that image has to be disseminated before we can claim fair use on it. I'd love to have it illustrate the article, and there certainly don't seem to be any free alternatives. Having checked the guidelines, it looks like we'd need explicit permission. --Stemonitis (talk) 08:08, 27 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Sincerely sorry for the bad link. It was late last night, and I'd done some drinking during Thanksgiving dinner. I'll see if I can contact coml.ORG and try to get permission. Thanks for the cleanup. Should the national geographic link not be included as an additional source? It all seems to be the same information. Just curious. Cmiych (talk) 19:45, 27 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
