I remember the episode, but I must say that I've not watched any Simpsons in a long time, nevermind this particular episode! Review to follow soon. J Milburn (talk) 16:47, 4 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • "who paid visit to a cemetery in Los Angeles to do research for several scenes at the beginning of the episode where the Simpsons visit a funeral salesman." Feels like a somehwhat useless factoid for the lead. It would be worth mentioning the director, however.
  • "and in 2009 it was released on DVD." Presumably, with the rest of the series? Currently, it sounds like it was a DVD of just this episode
  • ""Tennis the Menace" features guest appearances from Andre Agassi as himself, Pete Sampras as himself, and sisters Venus and Serena Williams as themselves." This is clunky
  • The animation style point seems important- it could perhaps be mentioned in the lead?
  • "With a Nielsen rating of 8.2, the episode tied The X-Files for the 41st place in the ratings for the week of February 5–11, 2001." Do we know which episode of The X-Files?
  • The quote from Jason Bailey is very long. I'd recommend moving it to a blockquote, but perhaps try to cut it down a little?
  • The formatting on the DVD commentary references isn't quite right- I'd recommend
Maxtone-Graham, Ian (2009). The Simpsons – The Complete Twelfth Season DVD commentary for the episode "Tennis the Menace". 20th Century Fox. [note change in italics, the dash and the loss of "(DVD)". I appreciate the template may not support this- just do it manually?]

In all, very nice. I'll be happy to promote once the above issues have been dealt with. Note that I made a few edits. J Milburn (talk) 17:14, 4 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

As always I really appreciate your great copyedits! Thanks for the review! Theleftorium (talk) 17:49, 4 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
