Bullshot?

[edit]

The statement about faked tech demos earning the title "bullshot" I find not so accurate, as it was created in a strip of Penny-Arcade as a joke, and the term is not widely used in the least. 60.240.2.203 11:10, 29 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

-I would probably agree that "bullshot" isn't a widely used term, but I would also postulate that it is a widely-known phenomenon, and that there is no better or more widely used term for it. Up until a few years ago, very many games had screenshots on their boxes that came from the game FMVs. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.94.120.100 (talk) 21:05, 20 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Video Game Bias

[edit]

-I notice that Gmaxwell has been removing the video game related content, and while it's true that video-game-related and other graphical tech demos do not comprise the entirity of tech demos, they do probably comprise one of the largest and most well-known segments of the plethora of types of tech demo. So, perhaps instead of deleting the video-game and graphics-card tech demo content, you could possibly just add other information about other types of tech demos, such as for other applications (ala a new app, operating system, or interface type [see "bumptop"]) which would not only make the article more complete, and everyone more happy, but would extend the article past the current handful of sentences you've edited it down to. Thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.94.120.100 (talk) 21:15, 20 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Article name

[edit]

Title is inconsistent in style -- either it should be tech demo since that is the common phrase applied to it, or it should be technology demonstration if you want to be formal. Going halfway is awkward. Ham Pastrami (talk) 09:14, 14 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have moved the page to "tech demo", which had 500k ghits. Ham Pastrami (talk) 12:04, 3 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Why does "pnambic" redirect here?
