Where is Elsah?

[edit]

We need more info on this place. BeenAroundAWhile (talk) 17:38, 2 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I added a link within the photo caption. BeenAroundAWhile (talk) 01:39, 11 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

New information and questions

[edit]

I did a careful rewrite of this article after searching and finding several new sources. I put the supposed info about naming the camera lens into a note at the bottom of the article because we really have nothing more than a series of back-and-forth comments by interested aficionados on a website. See WP:Reliable sources. Also, we really don't have any good sources for where he was buried: Only conjecture. Sincerely, BeenAroundAWhile (talk) 18:02, 2 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Too many pix?

[edit]

What do other editors think about removing the photos he took of non-notable people. They were (mostly) simply women whose husbands could afford Kajiwara's fee. Hoping to hear from you, BeenAroundAWhile (talk) 06:47, 31 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I am copying this from another page because the author, being semi-blocked or whatever, is not allowed to put it here.
She writes: I cannot answer on the talk page, but of the red name in the Gallery the following are featured in the Notable Women book of 1914 by Anne André Johnson:

Elise J. Blattner Mary C. Dillon Mary Dodds Edna Fern Althea Somerville Grossman Martha H. Hoke Emily Grant Hutchings Alice Gould Pattison May Simonds I was planning to write an article about them, but for obvious reason, I was prevented in doing so. I would save at least the above names other than the blu links to. For your information, the other women missing an article included in Notable Women are: Amelia C. Fruchte Anna C. Hedges Anna Ellis Reifsnider Anna Sneed Cairns Annie Laurie Y. Orff Annie Rooney Knight Eliza Buckely Ingalls Ellen Osborn Maria I. Johnston Mary C. McCulloch Mary Fisher Miriam Coste Senseney Elisa.rolle (talk) 07:45, 31 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the list. Being listed in that old book may not make a woman Notable under Wikipedia's definition, but at least it provides a start. Anyway, I'd like to get some more comment from people interested in this page before I start to make any changes. Yours, BeenAroundAWhile (talk) 08:55, 31 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Check this out: Wikipedia:What_Wikipedia_is_not#Wikipedia_is_not_a_mirror_or_a_repository_of_links,_images,_or_media_files I'll be cutting down this gallery, or moving the list to a separate space, ere long. BeenAroundAWhile (talk) 00:44, 6 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
