  • ... that one throat lozenge's packaging features five centipedes? [Sim Thian Ho "Five Centipedes" 72 year old legend from Bang Khla Go Inter]. Manager Daily (in Thai). Archived from the original on 2024-01-24. Retrieved 2024-01-24.

From Google Translate: "Many people have probably seen the 5 centipede logo before and many have used it before. Sometimes this includes you. But who knows? What was the origin? Who knows? Why do they have to be 5 centipedes"

  • Article is new enough, created the day of the nomination. Article is more than long enough with almost 2000 words. I can't read/access most of the sources, but the English language one next to the hook claim in the article is more than enough to establish verifiability. The article is well-written and cited overall, and was highly interesting; I did not expect to be reading about a Thai cough drop company today. Likewise, the hook is intriguing. However, I would suggest a slight rewording:
ALT1: ... that the packaging of one Thai throat lozenge features five centipedes?

Non-independent sources I did not use

[edit]

Here are two sources from reputable publishers that I did not use because they are not independent of the subject:

  1. Chantarasakha, Kanittha; Asawapanumas, Thiti; Suntivich, Rinrada; Panya, Atikorn; Phonsatta, Natthaporn; Thiennimitr, Parameth; Laoteng, Kobkul; Tepaamorndech, Surapun (March 2022). "Hatakabb, a herbal extract, contains pyrogallol as the novel mediator inhibiting LPS-induced TNF-α production by NF-κB inactivation and HMOX-1 upregulation". Journal of Functional Foods. 90. doi:10.1016/j.jff.2022.104992. Archived from the original on 2022-02-18. Retrieved 2024-01-24.

The article was funded by Hatakabb. The article notes:

    Declaration of Competing Interest

The authors declare that they have no known competing financial interests or personal relationships that could have appeared to influence the work reported in this paper. The funders, including Hatakabb and their employees, had no role in study design, collection, analysis, decision to publish, and preparation of the manuscript.

    Acknowledgements

This project was co-funded from NSTDA, and Hatakabb (Sim Tein Hor) Co., Ltd (P2050200). The funders had no role in study design, collection, analysis, decision to publish, and preparation of he manuscript. We thank Suknimit Sujira for her administrative support.

Furthermore, this is a primary source that provides a lot of biomedical information about Hatakabb. Since it is a primary source rather than a secondary source, Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources (medicine) says it cannot be used to verify biomedical information.
  2. "Herbal medicine maker Hatakabb leverages all-natural trend in expansion plan". South China Morning Post. 2018-12-07. Archived from the original on 2023-09-28. Retrieved 2024-01-24.

Scope and title

[edit]

Per WP:PRODUCT, when a company is mostly known for a single product line, "This article can be the name of the company or the name of its product, depending on which is the primary topic." Here, the company's name is much less known than its products. I suggest having the article at Takabb Anti-Cough Pill or just Takabb, which appears to be how the brand is marketed in English. --Paul_012 (talk) 01:41, 28 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Paul 012 (talk · contribs). I am fine with a rename to either of the two titles focused on the product line. Cunard (talk) 01:52, 28 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I've renamed the article from Hatakabb to Takabb Anti-Cough Pill. Cunard (talk) 08:34, 28 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the reply and update. I'll see if I can go through the article in more detail sometime. --Paul_012 (talk) 14:46, 28 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for adding File:Takabb Anti-Cough Pills on a drugstore shelf in Thailand.jpg and for correcting issues in the article! Cunard (talk) 04:56, 29 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
