Taft Avenue named in 1984?

I highly doubt that this road was named Taft Avenue in 1984. I am not sure when it became known as Taft Avenue, but I know it was way before 1984. I was courting my wife in 1974 who lived near Cartimar Market and the road was already called Taft.--Miles2north (talk) 00:04, 18 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Taft Avenue below Quirino station in Malate (B)

Hello, there has been a disagreement on which image to use for the infobox. Which one is more suitable? A or B. Personally A is more preferable cause it shows the immediate vicinity of the road (the building alongside and the MRT center island) as opposed to B which is an intersection and it doesn't give any context on where the image is if not for the Taft Avenue sign. If we remove that tiny sign, the photo depicts a non-descript image of the road. @Naniwoofg why do you think the second image of "is higher quality". Could you elaborate on that? @Hariboneagle927, I concur with your insight. A is the better choice among the two; the second image that Naniwoofg prefers may be striking to some but does not fully represent the road.
