Number of dead?
[edit]Not sure what is correct.
Intro paragraph says "It is said that 1139 people aboard were killed in the accident, however the exact number of fatalities remains unknown."
Text of article says "Of the 1,309 on board only 150 people survived, while 1,159 (1,041 passengers, 73 crew and 41 others) died."
26 September says "1954 - Japanese rail ferry Toya Maru sinks during a typhoon in the Tsugaru Strait, Japan killing 1,172."
I guess what the intro says "the exact number of fatalities remains unknown" is true.

Four other ferries
[edit]What were the other four ferries that sank? How many people died aboard them? Were they also lost on 26 September? Drutt (talk) 22:01, 17 June 2010 (UTC)
