Not notable

[edit]

I think this subject is not notable. Here is my thinking:

1. Notability is subjective to some degree. This person is not notable in my view because she has no notable accomplishments. She has appeared on TV and on film. So have many people. Are they notable?

2. Wikipedia: "notable topics—those that have gained sufficiently significant attention by the world at large and over a period of time." I do not think she has gained attention from the world at large.

3. Wikipedia: "'Notable'" in the sense of being famous or popular—although not irrelevant—is secondary. Determining notability does not necessarily depend on things such as fame, importance, or popularity"

4. Wikipedia: "Trivial coverage of a subject by secondary sources may not be sufficient to establish notability." I think all of your references are trivial except for Thai Rath and Mgr Online. The article's references are:

  1. Fan magazine, mostly photos
  2. Fan magazine, mostly photos
  3. Fan magazine, little content
  4. Thai Rath: brief CV
  5. Fan magazine; CV
  6. Fan magazine, mostly photos
  7. Fan magazine, CV with photos
  8. Mgr Online, movie review

5. This person has an article on Thai Wikipedia I see. 6. I think WP-EN has too many non-notable footballers, actors, boxers, et al., and ignoring too many notable national artists (see National Artist (Thailand)), activists, NGOs, other notables.

I understand the general sentiment, but find it rather strange that you're raising the issue with Sutatta, who is definitely on the more notable side of the spectrum of today's young actors, being a Suphannahong Award winner among other things. While the general notion of notability is subjective, the relevant Wikipedia guidelines are relatively clear, as summarised by WP:GNG. The current sources in the article are quite bad, but better sources exist which cover her life and work in depth.[1][2][3][4] --Paul_012 (talk) 05:38, 27 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
She was a nominee for the "Best Actress in a Leading Role" in the 2019 Asian TV Awards for her role in Bangkok Love Stories: Plead. 1. She was also in the public spotlight as a "celebrity" because of her previous use of illegal drugs 2 3 and was among the local celebrities summoned by the police for endorsing fake diet supplements 4 5. — Emperork (talk) 04:04, 6 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for all the help. I have added some of your info in the article. Hope you don't mind. Please revert to previous version if not okay. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bnk24 (talkcontribs) 18:33, 6 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I have mainly add more source and removed tag. Please revert back to previous version if I'm not allowed to do this. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bnk24 (talkcontribs) 22:11, 20 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
