First female newsreader?
[edit]I have removed the following from the article:
- "... where in 1978 she became the first female news announcer on Australian television."
It is contradicted by this page which only asserts that she was "the first female TV newsreader for the ABC in Perth and the second only by a day for the ABC nationally". - Mark 10:19, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
