Name
[edit]@Serena Milian: - Hi, I don't know why you have kept on removing Jean's real name for unexplained reasons. Sources (which have been provided on her article) have stated that "Jean" is the surname she uses professionally.[1] Quote: "Her decision to use her mother's maiden name for the brand was in order to equally represent both parts of her heritage; a consideration that is also evident in her collections." And the source states that her mothers name is "Violette Jean". Another profile/interview with her:[2] Quote: "Jean, who uses her mother’s maiden name for the brand, rather than her given surname Novarino" Clear Looking Glass (talk) 22:07, 17 November 2021 (UTC)
What does métisse identity mean?
[edit]A quick Google suggests that it is saying she is of Métis background, but I can't find this supported or backed up anywhere. Looking up the phrase doesn't really raise any clarity, especially as it seems to be specifically American/Canadian and that doesn't seem to apply to her. What exactly is this phrase saying about Stella Jean? Has something been lost in translation? Thanks for any clarification. Mabalu (talk) 09:49, 12 August 2022 (UTC)

Page name: Stella Novarino
[edit]The brand name of the stylist is Stella Jean, but the page is not just focused on the brand, ie the clothes produced and advertised by the brand, but on the stylist as a whole, Stella Novarino. This page should be renamed Stella Novarino. Versailliety (talk) 18:02, 2 January 2024 (UTC)
