Cast
[edit]Since there are different cast lists for each episode, does it make sense to put the cast in the episode table? For example:
No. | Title | Directed by | Written by | Animated by | Original release date | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
TBA | The Duel Transliteration: "Dyueru" (Japanese: デュエル) | Takanobu Mizuno | Unknown | Kamikaze Douga | September 22, 2021 | |
Japanese cast: Masaki Terasoma as Ronin, Akeno Watanabe as Bandit Leader, Yūko Sanpei as Village Chief English cast: Brian Tee as Ronin, Lucy Liu as Bandit Leader, Jaden Waldman as Village Chief |

- That could work in this instance. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 14:39, 18 August 2021 (UTC)
- @Adamstom.97 I've only just seen this discussion after implementing a version myself. Let me know if we should stick to what I've added to the article, or whether I should update {{Episode cast}} so we can separate the cast by nationality. -- /Alex/21 01:42, 1 October 2021 (UTC)
- I think either approach works fine but if we are going with your version Alex I think we should consider abbreviating the languages instead of repeating them so many times. - adamstom97 (talk) 23:00, 1 October 2021 (UTC)
Studio
[edit]Can we add the animation studio to each episode? --ReyHahn (talk) 21:42, 28 September 2021 (UTC)
- That info is already in the table. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 23:32, 29 September 2021 (UTC)
"The Duel" plot
[edit]How do we know that The Duel is set in an alternate timeline? - 195.92.38.20 (talk) 14:38, 16 October 2021 (UTC)
Accolades Table and Split into its own Category
[edit]Since it alrrady had two nominations in two respective awards for one of its episodes, Is it worth to separated Accolades sub-section from Reception section and make its own category or just stay in the same section, but with add an accolades table for it? Kurogaga (talk) 13:52, 26 January 2022 (UTC)
- If more accolades are given, a table can be made here. There currently are not enough to warrant a table let alone a split. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 17:28, 26 January 2022 (UTC)
Second season
[edit]Apparently there are reports that this series got renewed for a second season which is currently in production, but this is only on the Disney+ original programming page and not this page or the list of Star Wars television series page. The report came last month from CBR here: https://www.cbr.com/star-wars-visions-season-2-release-date/ so maybe this can be used in this article as reliable enough. -TrixieCat123 (User talk:TrixieCat123) 18:42, 20 May 2022 (UTC)
Production Company
[edit]Why is Lucasfilm listed as the production company if the shorts were actually produced by seven different anime studios? 184.98.250.15 (talk) 17:54, 26 December 2022 (UTC)
- It listed as Production company Because it was bug responsible to create Visions like this. Also since it had Second Season, none of 7 different anime studios from previous seasons. So reasonable. Kurogaga (talk) 11:26, 5 May 2023 (UTC)
- Correction: None of 7 different anime studios from previous seasons comeback to the second one, instead 9 Animation studios (include Aeni Studio, Anime Studio, (indie) 3D Animation Studio, 2D Animation Studio, even Stop-motion Animation Studio) made for the Second one. Kurogaga (talk) 11:29, 5 May 2023 (UTC)
each episode is a separate short film
[edit]Star_Wars:_Visions#Critical_response had some titles italicized and others "in quotation marks". For consistency, i went with MOS:ITALICTITLE for "Films (including short films)" instead of MOS:NOITALIC's recommendation of quotation marks for "episodes of audio-visual series, segments or skits in longer programs, [and] short stories". Then i noticed Star_Wars:_Visions#Episodes uses quotation marks and thought i'd better ask for some consensus before changing everything one way or the other. (i think MOS:ITALICTITLE is technically more correct here, but i did notice lists of titles were easier to read with quotation marks to show where one title ends and the next one begins.)
Please do not just revert my edit--it includes other appropriate changes (like italicizing Star Wars and fixing a grammar mistake caused by a typo).

- Quotes is correct per MOS:MINORWORK, as they are episodes of the larger MOS:MAJORWORK, Visions. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 19:00, 24 December 2023 (UTC)
