Spouse of governor general of Belize → Spouse of the governor-general of Belize – Three parts to my reasoning:
- The article's source refers to "The spouse of the Governor General", which is why I suggest an intervening "the" between "of" and "governor-general".
- As can be seen in Belize's constitution, "governor-general" should be hyphenated.
- Regarding capitalization of "governor-general", MOS:LOWERCASE and MOS:JOBTITLE are the relevant policy and guideline, respectively. PrinceTortoise (he/him • poke) 05:58, 19 January 2025 (UTC)
- Points 1 and 2 are flawed because Wikipedia used the common name rather than the official name. For what it's worth, Breaking Belize News uses the hyphen. PrinceTortoise (he/him • poke) 06:06, 19 January 2025 (UTC)
