Bogus lyrics

[edit]

These lyrics (added by 70.231.98.1 on 26 Sep 2006) have nothing to do with Bellefire's Spin the Wheel. If they did, they would probably belong to a different article, i.e. the single "Spin the Wheel", rather than the album of the same name. But in fact it appears to be a different song entirely. I suggest that 70.231.98.1 should create an appropriate article for this song if it is considered important. --Kev 18:07, 26 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I managed to track down a sample of the Hampsters' song "Spin the Wheel" and confirmed that it is an entirely different song from Bellefire's "Spin the Wheel". --Kev 19:46, 26 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I now have added the correct lyrics to the article "Spin the Wheel (single)". --Kev 07:28, 27 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have now deleted the bogus Hampsterdance lyrics. Hope they don't come back again.--86.9.25.205 22:44, 27 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

By the way, the offending text was:

"Spin the Wheel" is also a track on "Hampsterdance: The Album":......

followed by a set of lyrics. Why?--Kev 22:50, 27 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Spinthewheel.jpg

[edit]

Image:Spinthewheel.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
