Merge stadium article
[edit]Not sure there's much point in having a separate article for Filtrona Park just yet..can always be split off if/when there's enough verifiable info. Paulbrock 14:43, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
- Support merge It is a small article therefore should be merged. Sunderland06 20:37, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
Record Attendance?
[edit]The article states that the record attendance was set at the 1927 game against Swansea as 24,000 but I have a news report of the fourth round replay against Sheffield Wednesday the same year which is greater than this at 25,470. At no stage in the report does it state that this was a record either so I have removed the statement regarding Swansea as being incorrect. Captainbeecher (talk) 16:01, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
Split up
[edit]The article contained information for three distinct clubs using the same name. This is inconsistent with practice elsewhere (see Accrington Stanley for an example). I've split the article up and created two articles called South Shields F.C. (1936) and (1974) respectively for the latter two, and partitioned the data. If I've introduced any errors, please correct them, but please don't just revert it without contacting me Chrismorey (talk) 03:16, 25 October 2013 (UTC)
