Merge Proposal
[edit]Not much to say, but +1 to User:Zxcvbnm's merge tag - there's not really enough here to support an article, and it seems like disproportionate coverage of the issue. Perhaps this can be covered in an "art style" section in the main Dragon's Crown article? Wouldn't lose any content that way. User:Abryn, thoughts? SnowFire (talk) 01:59, 4 December 2019 (UTC)
- @SnowFire: There's already a discussion at Talk:Dragon's Crown so you should refer to that. I already suggested that but in a Controversy section.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 02:14, 4 December 2019 (UTC)
- Whoops, sorry, didn't see that. I dunno if "controversy" would be the right header though, that could mean anything - all the content on Sorceress was specifically about the art, not her plot or attitude or anything. SnowFire (talk) 02:41, 4 December 2019 (UTC)
I'm not opposed to it, though I'm not at home right now. Could you give me till Saturday, when I'm back, to try to address the issue with the article? -Bryn (talk) (contributions) 21:44, 4 December 2019 (UTC)
- No hurry, take as long as you like. SnowFire (talk) 00:36, 5 December 2019 (UTC)
- @Zxcvbnm: Hey you can merge if you like, I'm going to tackle the article at a later date, taking your criticisms to heart. Thanks! - Bryn (talk) (contributions) 15:50, 8 December 2019 (UTC)

Lead
[edit]-Looks good
Concept and creation
[edit]-"Shigatake noted that while her large breasts were due to Kamitani's taste, he emphasized their jiggle was due to his own" reword since the latter half doesn't make much grammatical sense.
Appearances
[edit]-"As introduced in Vanillaware's 2013 video game Dragon's Crown, the Amazon is a playable character that acts as one of the game's character classes, allowing players to customize their name and choose one of several color palettes at the start of the game." I assume this is meant to say the Sorceress and not the Amazon?
Promotion and reception
[edit]-"Several bits of merchandise featuring the Amazon have been released, including tapestries, cleaning cloths, card sleeves, and t-shirts." I assume it's the same here? (Sorceress over Amazon)
-"He further stated that while he had no intention to call for the character to be censored, in regards to her design "I think it repels more than it attracts." The quote doesn't really have much of a transition. I'd suggest adding one for flow.
-What's the reliability of TechnologyTell? I recognize the author name so I assume she's someone with a lot of field experience, but I'd like to verify both either way.
-", he argued that many were defending he felt her design was "perverted", but that there was "nothing wrong with that"." I have no clue what this sentence is trying to say here.
-Could more context be provided for the "Boob Jam" event? It's got what I feel is undue weight in the lead since the article doesn't really emphasize the event's significance nor what the event actually did to help what it says it did. I feel this could do with expansion/clarification.
Overall
[edit]Looks good for the most part. Let me know on the above points as well as if you have any questions. Has one ever considered Magneton? Pokelego999 (talk) 03:07, 16 August 2024 (UTC)
- @Pokelego999: Fixed everything I could. As for TechnologyTell, it and GamerTell were apparently a joint venture by Jenni Lada and Jeremy Hill, both with long history in journalism and acting as the editors for the site. Jenni's currently the EiC of Siliconera.
- Regarding the boob jam, I removed it from the lead, but it's a weird case: she was definitely a factor, but the only source I could find that went into any deeper discussion as to why wasn't a RS. It's definitely a factor of the character's legacy, but I agree the lead inclusion may be UNDUE.--Kung Fu Man (talk) 03:48, 16 August 2024 (UTC)
- @Kung Fu Man should be good to go. Happy to pass! Has one ever considered Magneton? Pokelego999 (talk) 04:02, 16 August 2024 (UTC)
