SThird 09:46, 10 November 2009 (UTC) The page Xperia X10 should be merged with Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10. As there is no need to maintain 2-pages for the same article.

Yep. The article that you kill should then become a redirect page to the one that lives. This should be done soon.--Lester 00:00, 21 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, I just did it myself (diff). This article name was the better proposition, as its naming fits with Wikipedia convention for handset names so far.--Lester 00:19, 21 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Networks

[edit]

The article says there will be a 2g and 3g version. However, this website claims there will be two different versions:

As far as cellular network support is concerned, the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 will ship in two versions: Quad-band GSM + HSPA 900/1700/2100 (T-Mobile USA + Europe) or Quad-band GSM + HSPA 800/850/1900/2100 (AT&T Wireless + Europe).

This official document says something else.

Rooting

[edit]

This section gives a lot more info that needed. There's no link to the wiki page about superuser, instead it attempts to explain it all in that paragraph. There's no link to a rooting proof, any ROMs, or anything of that nature. Could really use improvement. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.197.54.29 (talk) 04:09, 28 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Also says custom ROM's can't be loaded. I am running Android 2.2 right now. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.138.97.177 (talk) 19:10, 3 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Searching for X10 2.2 on google will net a lot of results for rooting so it's certainly a popular idea. Jenova20 (talk) 13:41, 26 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

no fracking bluetooth?

[edit]

lack information thereof . there is no bluetooth on this phone? Why there is no mention of the bluetooth and thethering here? 71.99.92.124 (talk) 02:36, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It has Bluetooth. ProtoKun7 (talk) 14:46, 22 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Added a word about resolution.

[edit]

Bdy text says: 'The screen supports DVD wide-screen resolution' The screen only supports NTSC DVD resolution, so i've inserted that. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.199.115.99 (talk) 18:16, 15 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Android 2.2

[edit]

Didn't Sony Ericsson say that the X10 would get an upgrade to 2.2 in the first quarter of 2011? I'll research it again anyway though. Jenova20 (talk) 16:56, 25 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Wow, that's a real kick in the teeth for anyone who stumped up the cash for the most expensive android phone. Turns out they haven't said anything about 2.2 for the X10 and may well have decided against it. Recommendation: HTC next time Jenova20 (talk) 13:39, 26 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request it's removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.
