How is the origin of surnames described in Sinja Valley?
[edit]During the reign of the Mallas in the Karnali region, the monarchy was centralized and administered by feudal lords. The feudal officials, including Mahamandaleshwar, Mandaleshwar, Mahamatya, Amatya, Senapati, Rajguru, Joshi, and Paikela, played a significant role in governance and supported the king. Other notable figures included Bhatt, Bisht, Bhandari,Aday, Adhikari, Karki, Mahatara, Rokaya, Thapa, Budha Thapa, Tamta,Kathayat, Japrel, and Aidy.
