Article requests : Graphics and citations will aid in readability.
Citing sources : Could use additional citations. These could be from Baird's manual, or a notable publication or book, a university yearbook or official university portal for the student organization.
Wikify : In the infobox, confirm the number of chapters and number of lifetime members. Expand the History section to include milestones. Any chapter list should be placed into a table format, like this: Sigma Delta Rho as an example of a small page list, or like List of Delta Kappa Epsilon chapters when placed on a separate page (to reference two unrelated examples). (--This is subjective, perhaps 30 chapters or more). A table will allow room where chapter references may point to portal pages, and allow comments on where a chapter came from, interesting facts or its outcome. A chapter list should include dates of chartering. Indicate if a chapter is active by bolding its name, or if inactive by using italics. A table will allow room where chapter references may point to portal pages, and allow comments on where a chapter came from, interesting facts or its outcome. Another table may be used to showcase notable members, but be sure to add Inclusion Rules to avoid vanity listings. Phi Kappa Theta does a nice job with their notable members list. Finally, this fraternity is over 100 years old, and its history should be summarized in this article.
I recently updated this article, which had oddly been languishing as a stub with no crest, no infobox and no references. Additional references would be very helpful. My sense is that because it is an independent group, not affiliated with the ACHS, it has missed some of the scrutiny provided to those many groups by Fraternity and Sorority Project participants here on Wikipedia, who would otherwise have improved the page.
Curiously, after uploading the crest, which I sampled for the correct color swatch hexcodes, I noticed that one of the symbols on the crest looks like a Dalek from Doctor Who. Can anyone enlighten us as to what this symbol really is? The organization, certainly, and its crest likely pre-date the British television show by almost five decades. There was not an active Sigma Gamma Epsilon chapter where I studied geology, but I am an expert on Doctor Who. That is a Dalek.... Rublamb (talk) 02:52, 12 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Not your run-of-the-mill Daleks, of course. No. But one of the hybrid Dalek-Time Lord versions, created by the Master. Looks like they met their end, though. Jax MN (talk) 19:18, 12 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
