Infobox flags

While flags are permitted in conflict infoboxes, there is a rider: Flag icons should only be inserted in infoboxes in those cases where they convey information in addition to the text. This is explained in fuller detail at MOS:MILFLAGS. As there are only two belligerents here, flags here do not convey information in addition to the text. They convey irrelevant or redundant information and are merely decorative. One needs to read the P&G fully and not just cherry-pick one particular phrase. Consequently, they should not be used here.
