Lack of citations

I've noticed there's only two citations on this article; for a novel written about the subject and a TV show featuring the subject in a fictional capacity.

The article lacks both general references and inline citations; the actual description of the topic totally lacks any citations whatsoever. I unfortunately have no idea how to add citations, nor particular interest in the subject. Maybe this is a small fix an editor interested in the Wild West would feel interested in taking care of?
