U S 50
[edit]Article states: When I-435 was completed, US 50 was rerouted to overlap I-435 into Missouri.
This is only my memory here, but I don't believe this was done until several years after I-435 was completed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.70.156.3 (talk) 06:42, 17 July 2012 (UTC)
Original name: Johnson Drive/63rd Street
[edit]The road now called Shawnee Mission Parkway had two names prior to its renaming - I think that took place in the late 1980s.
From the junction with Ward Parkway at the Missouri-Kansas line to the former Kansas Route 158 (Johnson Drive) exit at the Mission Shopping Center, the road was known as Johnson Drive. From Nall Avenue westward, it was known as 63rd Street, whose position on the metropolitan grid it occupied. I don't believe the road had a name between these two points. This article's "History" section should be revised to reflect the earlier names. Marketstel (talk) 16:11, 11 March 2017 (UTC)
