z() is the cumulative distribution function (cdf)? It seems to be the inverse cdf! 88.64.144.11 (talk) 20:51, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
Effect size
[edit]Added Effect size to see also, as "d-prime" seems to be a simplified variant of Cohen's d, and the Effect size article is much more substantive.
Original SOurce?
[edit]Surely the original source of d-prime's origin should be cited instead of a 2010 neuroscience article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 169.234.89.105 (talk) 17:04, 3 July 2014 (UTC)
p ∈ [0,1]
[edit]Doesn't this say p = 0 or 1? Shouldn't it say p *ranges between* 0 and 1 (inclusive)?Therealdp (talk) 19:41, 20 April 2015 (UTC)
The brackets [] denote a closed interval. "p = 0 or 1" would be written as "p ∈ {0,1}", where the bracelets {} denote a set. MaigoAkisame (talk) 01:08, 11 April 2018 (UTC)
