For the record: this article was split 24 Nov. 2017 from Seismic magnitude scales, which was originally "Seismic scale", created in 2006. For the earlier history see here. ~ J. Johnson (JJ) (talk) 22:31, 24 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Change of name

[edit]

The recent change of name from the plural form to the singular form is deemed incorrect. Discussion at Talk:Seismic magnitude scales#Seismic scales: not singular. ♦ J. Johnson (JJ) (talk) 21:09, 23 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Table comparison

[edit]

It would be good to add table comparison. Also keep in mind that there is (possibility of ) negative magnitude on richter scale. Setenzatsu.2 (talk) 14:10, 31 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Huh? What kind of comparison? And why would it be good? ♦ J. Johnson (JJ) (talk) 22:52, 31 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
