escapees from england and wales prison category

i assume this category was added as he helped George Blake escape from prison, however the category is escapees not people who assisted escapees so i have removed this category. --Allie Cabab (talk) 23:44, 22 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

IRA membership?

I have seen him-or at least I believe this individual mentioned as a member of the IRA at least in some capacity at some point. Admittedly it is entirely I am confused especially considering the likelihood it was another of the same name. The article makes no mention of this and does not go into much detail regarding the explosive he sent through the mail to an Inspector nor how he developed the connections he utilized in the prison breakout and his later life affiliated with prominent Marxist-though both would be expected of an IRA member at the time.
