Do we need a disambiguation page?

The result of the move request was: no consensus to move or not move this article. Reasonable debate about whether or not this subject is the clear primary topic for the exact term "Scarborough railway station", but no clear consensus. Additionally there were concerns about how to disambiguate this title if it were moved. There was, hoewever, a consensus to move Scarborough train station (a dab page) to Scarborough station. Scarborough railway station → Scarborough (North Yorkshire) railway station – As the hatnote indicates there are three other railway stations called "Scarborough", and putting them all in a hatnote may seem cluttered. Therefore I bring up the following points:
- Should a disambiguation page be created to disambiguate all four stations?
- Is any one of them considered primary enough to put at the base name?
- If this station name is disambiguated, should the dab page be located at this name, or possibly Scarborough station or Scarborough Station?
(Note: the suggested title for this page is according to WP:NCUKSTATIONS conventions.) <<< SOME GADGET GEEK >>> (talk) 23:50, 12 November 2015 (UTC)
- Support per nom; and convert Scarborough station into a disambiguation page (move Scarborough train station to "Scarborough station"), repointing the current term there. There is also Scarborough Centre (TTC) -- 70.51.44.60 (talk) 06:29, 13 November 2015 (UTC)
- There probably does need to be a disambiguation page, but I'd say this one has primacy for "railway station". -mattbuck (Talk) 08:35, 13 November 2015 (UTC)

- Oppose this move but Support converting Scarborough station into a disambiguation page - The only other station that appears to be commonly called Scarborough railway station is Scarborough railway station, New South Wales, which serves a population of 346. The page currently in this location is clearly the primary topic. Scarborough (Metro-North station) and Scarborough GO Station are not commonly referred to as Scarborough railway station so there is no need for more than a hatnote here (I'd argue that there is no need for those two to be in the hatnote to be honest). - The WP:NCUKSTATIONS conventions are misleading: "Newport (Essex)" is an official disambiguated form of the station's name; where there is not one, most articles that need disambiguation are named in this way but the only discussion on where the disambiguation should be for these is at Talk:Fairfield railway station (Greater Manchester).
