Does this exist?

I'm pretty sure this orchestra is defunct. I haven't heard about it in the last 10 years, and I can't find anything about it on the web. Gglockner 21:06, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I can't find much about it either. There's a copy of a newspaper photo of Arthur Fiedler with the "San Francisco Symphony 'Pops' Orchestra" from 1970 on eBay.[1]. The San Francisco Symphony article indicates that Arthur Fiedler's concerts were with the San Francisco Symphony in "pops" mode. There's a reference from 1995 of a "San Francisco Pops Orchestra featuring Landsburg and Yount" [2], but no idea what that's about.
