The book - The Palestinian Nakba 1948: The register of depopulated localities in Palestine

[edit]

The last official head counting by the Mandate government was done in the year 1945, and was published in the survey "Village statistics 1945" ( It was not a census), I wonder what were abu sitta sources in his book. The article says nothing about it. this is important information especially since Abu sitta is not an historian, and his book is used as a source in articles and websites. Lack of neutrality and quality

[edit]

This article is rife with bias and terrible writing. A lot of information is not cited whatsoever when it definitely should be, there are spelling/grammar issues and there is way too much loaded language and bias. It seems there are several contributors that have gradually added bias and uncited information but the largest shift was SH ABUSITTA who completely defiled the article on 25 September 2020. The entire article should be wiped and rewritten with proper sources backing up all claims. UriKl (talk) 03:49, 23 July 2021 (UTC) agreed יונתן שושן (talk)[reply]

I have fixed it by restoring to an earlier version. This article is still a mess, no doubt. Dunutubble (talk) (Contributions) 19:37, 26 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

4 kibbutzim:

[edit]

According to his memoir, "Mapping my return", 4 kibbutzim, Nirim, Ein Hashlosha, Nir Oz and Magen, were all built on Abu Sitta's land. Unfortunately, Khalidi does not cover that area, but can we use this information, somehow? Huldra (talk) 22:42, 28 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
