Again other SIGADs

This is a partial list of SIGADs I have compiled some time ago, with references :

  • USM-1 : Vint Hill Farms Station (American Cryptology During the Cold War 1945-1989, Book I [1] p. 135)
  • USM-2 : allegedly Army Security Agence (ASA) listening post at the US Moscow Embassy (James Bamford, The Puzzle Palace, based on previous newspapers reporting)
  • USM-5, USM-625, USM-636, USN-13, USA-516, USM-7 : closed SIGINT sites on US soil [2]
  • USA-34, USN-39, USA-70, USA-73, UKA-277B, USM-620K, US-987L : various SIGINT sites [3] p.21, 23, 36
  • USA-38 : 6920th Electronic Security Group (USAF) at Misawa AB, Japan, as of 1983 (Seymour Hersh, The Target is Destroyed)

AFP-numbers are no SIGADs

According to this article, the numbers starting with AFP are no SIGADs, but were actually used for a wide variety of space and satellite programs. Therefore I'll remove that section from the main article. P2Peter (talk) 19:30, 7 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
