Filipovic did play for Craivoa and Zeljeznicar, I just can't find his stats but there is footage on Youtube of it, and he has a Facebook page if you want to check!
The article was heavily compromised by someone wanting to present the player in the best, unrealistic light possible. There are is plenty conflicting information online and I've edited the article in accordance only with clear info about the player that could be backed up and aren't tainted by an "interested party", leaving only the career info that can be proven/backed up. There is an interview/presentation of the player filmed while he was on trial in Universitatea Craiova and was supposed to sign, but there is also clear info in Romanian press that he never signed and was released. The only issue that can be brought up is the possibility of him playing in Bahrain between Spittal and the (second) trial at Universitatea, as there's no info online in Latin alphabet, but might just be in Arabic.
