I honestly think this redirect style is a very bad idea because there are multiple schools named "Roberts Elementary School", none more notable than the other. A person entering this name could want any one of them. No one should have priority over the other. This needs to be a disambig for school district pages.

Every school district article, Leon County Schools being one of them, counts as an existing article. Wikipedia schools guidfelines say a non notable American public school shall redirect to its school district. When two or more such schools have the same name (and none is particularly well known more than the othrrs), a disambig is the logical answer WhisperToMe (talk) 21:07, 20 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
We're not discussing the merits of notability. DABs are not directories, they are navigational tools for wikipedia, not things just because they exist. The relevant guidelines and policies here are WP:DDD and MOS:DAB. That being said, I highly doubt anyone is going to look for a list of non-notable middle and elementary schools to begin with. Perhaps it shouldn't be redirected but it's a stretch to call this a dab. Praxidicae (talk) 21:39, 20 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
People historically did create articles on NN elementary schools (not sure if the requirement that new editors need to get experience before article creation has slowed this down), and the outcome of an NN American public elementary school is to redirect it to the school district article - this is what happens in the case of an AFD as such. But if two or more share the same name, it's necessary to direct the user to the proper school (as a person looking for "Roberts Elementary School" may be meaning the one in Houston, and not Tallahassee), which means the proper school district controlling the said school. So a disambig is not the root desire to speak, but a consequence of other decisions down the tree. WhisperToMe (talk) 23:18, 20 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
