Robert's Life?
[edit]I was looking for a little more on Robert Randolph himself. This article needs much expansion, but I'm new to the group.
Sacred Steel tradition
[edit]I'd like to see someone qualified add in here a section about Randolph's introduction to the tradition of Sacred Steel Music (church music played on pedal steel) and it's influence on his music. We do not yet have an article on Sacred Steel (musical tradition) but we should.
- That article appears to have been added in September 2006 Phytism (talk) 13:03, 24 January 2009 (UTC)
Multicultural?
[edit]Could somebody explain the use of "multicultural" multiple times in this article? It seems out-of-place when talking about a musical group. Are you looking for "eclectic"?
- I agree; it doesn't make sense. Unless the editor simply used the wrong word, I suppose its a reference to the demographic make-up of the band...but that hardly seems like something which needs to be noted in the opening sentence. So I'm taking it out. KevinOKeeffe (talk) 04:34, 29 July 2012 (UTC)
Christian misician?

Article focus is only on Randolph himself
[edit]It appears that the article is only about Robert Randolph and not upon the band. The article is poorly written as a biographical piece and fails to cover the band itself, with only a couple of reliable references. Needs a review and probably a rewrite-- or else change the title to Robert Randolph and work on it from that point on.. --Leahtwosaints (talk) 13:47, 4 July 2011 (UTC)
