What does this mean: "In 1989 he was rehabilitated by the Communist Party.", how could he be rehabilitated 1989 if he died 1982? Or is this a language-issue, does "rehabilitated" means something else in this case than this definition from TheFreeDictionary: Rehabilitated ? / 90.225.85.254 (talk) 10:28, 30 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Answering myself here. I now see that there is a concept called "political rehabilitation", i did not know that, one learns something new everyday. :) Think i will add the word political before rehabilitated in the article and link it, because i saw there exists an article for political rehabilitation / 90.225.85.25422:09, 30 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Is there more information on Havemann's House Arrest?
The article reads "He continued his work as a socialist critic and was put under house arrest in 1976, at his home in the village of Grünheide." This insinuates that his continued work as a socialist critic resulted in his house arrest in 1976, but is there a particular event that triggered his house arrest charges? It may strengthen the section on his opposition to the GDR. Since he was one of the GDR's most avid critics, maybe the page could benefit from a subheading discussing his criticisms of the GDR, including his lectures and articles published on the matter? - Geschichte7 (talk) 00:23, 18 November 2024 (UTC) Geschichte7 (talk) 00:22, 18 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
