Trying to get a discussion going before attempting to edit the article. This quote had a significant effect on me. Any support from wiki biographers for adding it to Bartley's page? -- tbc (talk) 18:34, 23 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
We'd get letters from fastidious grammarians pointing out editorial usage violations not found in any dictionary. Bob wrote back to one: "Sir, the dictionary exists to recognize the new usages created by people like me." [1]
