Naming of Rio Grande

The naming section is stupid. It doesn't say anything about how Rio Grande got its name. I was told that it was named Rio Grande because ther was an underground river in the area near the Wildwood Pumping Station where a majority of the fresh water was procured. Maybe that is when the Leaming guy came up with Rio Grande because it sounded better that Aquafertown or Big Underground River City. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 165.212.189.187 (talk) 16:40, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
