Shorten the title
[edit]As indicated by the sources, the title is just "Red Riding Hood" now. 69.66.242.64 (talk) 06:12, 3 August 2010 (UTC) its really the same
First paragraph is full of errors or intentional mistakes
[edit]The director, producer, and more are not accurate. 67.61.180.79 (talk) 04:11, 12 March 2011 (UTC)
== Also, there is an error in the story. Father August is killed by Father Solomon after he shoves one of Father Solomon's men who is trying to shoot Henry, who is escaping with Valerie. Father Solomon dies later, he is killed by one of his men, the one who had his brother killed after being bitten earlier in the movie.----
More on this, the Actress who played Lucie is actually Alexandria Maillot (not Malliot) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.31.163.212 (talk) 14:40, 27 July 2011 (UTC)
Max Irons
[edit]Ok, I'm going to have to admit defeat here. I don't know how to create a page for actor Max Irons now that the page has been "salted" (i.e. deleted and then prevented from ever being created again). Can anyone help? --jayunderscorezero (talk) 01:02, 16 March 2011 (UTC)
- Done. Llamabr (talk) 15:03, 16 March 2011 (UTC)
- Ah, that workaround somehow never occurred to me. The new page still needs a little work, but thanks for creating it. --jayunderscorezero (talk) 20:17, 16 March 2011 (UTC)
- Ya, I don't know if it was the right way, but it means not having to deal with the 'salt' problem. Llamabr (talk) 19:28, 18 March 2011 (UTC)

Based on the novel by
[edit]This film is categorized as based on a novel, but I can't determine which novel it's based on. Checking amazon only shows a novelization of the film. Could we include that in the article? Llamabr (talk) 14:53, 16 March 2011 (UTC)
- I think it was just an attempt to say that this film was based on source material, in this case the fairy tale. I've removed the category. We can include the novelization in a "Further reading" section; see Surf Ninjas#Further reading for an example. Erik (talk | contribs) 15:28, 16 March 2011 (UTC)
- It might also be an idea to include the novelisation (and the minor controversy surrounding it) in the "Marketing" section. --jayunderscorezero (talk) 20:17, 16 March 2011 (UTC)
Rescript
[edit]I read a bit back that the movie was originally intended to be quite different than the direction they ultimately chose to take it (ie. Deciding to capitalize on the Twilight trend.). I can't seem to find any of those sources anymore. If anyone knows of any reputable articles that source this fact, I think it would be an important addition to the page.JanderVK (talk) 01:03, 23 March 2011 (UTC)
German article?!
[edit]Hello,
I've got a question. Is there also a German article? I didn't found one at the german Wikipedia. If there is no one, I could possibly translate the article to german. (I hope my english is good enough for it...)

Germany
[edit]Why is it assumed the movie is set in Germany? The names hint more at France.--85.180.16.26 (talk) 08:55, 23 April 2011 (UTC)
- There is a deleted scene with Valerie, her father (?), and several young men dressed in what appears to be upper-middle class French attire, so it looks to me that it is more likely to be set in France than Germany (thus the German-set category tag should probably be removed). I don't know what the context of the deleted scene is, however (part of a dream sequence? an early alternate ending? don't know). — al-Shimoni (talk) 12:58, 11 June 2011 (UTC)
