Contradict
[edit]Hi. I'm just interested to know why the "contradict" tag was placed on this article. There's nothing in it that seems specifically self-contradictory. It is my understanding from it that the previous Socialist government (in power until July 2009) intended to introduce an unregistered cohabitation/de facto partnership law. This law was intended to only apply to opposite-sex couples, even though there were recommendations that it be extended to same-sex couples too. I'm not sure what will happen to the law under the current GERB government. The GERB party is "liberal conservative" in ideology, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's less favourable on LGBT rights than the Socialists. Ronline ✉ 08:56, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
