Ray epps
[edit]Do athletes who played just one year as a professional - over 40 years ago - typically get their own wiki page? Hmmm. Search for Epps on “duck duck go” and see for yourself 2601:244:4D02:2E90:7501:2F7F:C427:9AA8 (talk) 16:08, 6 January 2022 (UTC)
There is now New York Times , Washington Post , USA Today , NBC News , CNN and countless others coverage of the Ray Epps who is on camera urging the invasion of the Capitol on Jan 6 . . . and this, is the Ray Epps Wikipedia "encyclopedia editors" feature. . . at least until the editors can figure out how they will be explaining "encyclopedically" why he (solely, among the so-called "insurrectionists") was never then arrested 71.105.18.90 (talk) 20:04, 12 January 2022 (UTC)

This article should be changed to Raymond_Epps in the URL, and Ray Epps to the man who has become known by millions as a participant in the riots of January 6, and has been named by United States Senators as well as a large number of media outlets. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.88.75.27 (talk) 01:39, 27 January 2022 (UTC)

[edit]The "Ray Epps" described in the article is clearly not notable. Everyone knows who the notable one is. Wikipedia has a left wing political agenda. Obvious bias here. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.231.143.5 (talk) 00:21, 10 June 2022 (UTC)
Raymond Epps and Ray Epps
[edit]I made Raymond Epps for the basketball player and Ray Epps for the Oath Keeper, also found a video I had uploaded a year ago which happened to get identified by the original uploader on Vimeo. Victor Grigas (talk) 02:07, 16 June 2022 (UTC)
Also, wikidata needs to be corrected: http://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q3930619 Victor Grigas (talk) 02:09, 16 June 2022 (UTC)
- @Victorgrigas: That has rightly been reverted; hijacking an existing article is not acceptable. If you think the Oath Keeper deserves a standalone article, start one under a proper disambiguated title or draft one via WP:AFC. Pawnkingthree (talk) 13:26, 22 June 2022 (UTC)
- I highly suggest the latter, given that I do not think the Oathkeeper Ray is notable. Primefac (talk) 13:31, 22 June 2022 (UTC)
- Not notable? You're lying through your teeth, bud. 63.231.143.5 (talk) 00:25, 24 June 2022 (UTC)
- Lying about my own opinions seems like an odd thing to do. Why would I think that he is notable but say that I think he is not? I could very well be wrong, but we won't know until someone writes an acceptable draft page. Primefac (talk) 07:28, 24 June 2022 (UTC)
