Original ownership

the rancho Santa Anita was originally owned by Claudio Lopez, majordomo of San Gabriel mission. It was named by Lopez, after a cousin of his wife, Anita, for whom he was in love with at the time of her untimely death. 2603:9008:1400:968:6B36:35C:F9B4:1657 (talk) 05:15, 22 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
