I have changed the links in the infobox so that they link to the article about the Purdue University System institution at that location, rather than to an article about that city or town. The Purdue University System consists of five distinct institutions on a total of six campuses, with the result that two of the links go to the same article). @ElKevbo: Regarding your revert, observing that the "links are not cities", I realize that there may be a certain element of surprise when one is not taken to an article that directly corresponds to the name displayed in the link. Nonetheless, in the infobox on which the link occurs, the text displayed for each link is a reference to a campus. We don't have an article specifically about the campus, but we do have articles about the associated institution, and I make the case that this is the more pertinent article to link to.
Nevertheless, it is a surprise. Perhaps there is some text we can include in or adjacent to the link to clarify this. Fabrickator (talk) 14:05, 19 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I think that it's possible that this template may not be best one for this article about a university system. If we stick with this template then the "campuses" parameter seems to be the one that fits your intended use. ElKevbo (talk) 22:22, 22 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
