Need to specify "United States"?

[edit]

Could we get the opinion of other editors regarding the need to include "United States" after "Puerto Rico" in the introduction of this article. A concern is that its inclusion makes the introductory statement weaker as it appears to detract from the subject of the article, namely highway PR-22. (If I had no knowledge about some road and was searching the Wikipedia for information about it, I'd just like to read "PR-22 is a toll road in the north coast of Puerto Rico," period.)

In addition to appear distracting, the inclusion of "United States" may also appear to be making a political statement, namely that Puerto Rico is part of the United States (something that would belong in another article).

In any event, the preference would be to leave out "United States" since if the reader wanted to know more about Puerto Rico there is already a link via the "[ [ Puerto Rico ] ]" format.

Hopefully the original contributing editor and/or other editors can share their view on the matter and come to some agreement that will make the article palatable to most. CallmeDrNo (talk) 01:13, 21 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Red link to something that'll never be an article

[edit]

Exit 57, Salida 57 says "Florida Farmacéuticas" and the article has a wikilink to "Florida", which is a city in Puerto Rico but also has a link to "Farmacéuticas". The link to "Farmacéuticas" will be red forever because there is no such city. You can also see the image of the exit which is on the article.... It's not the only instance where this occurs. Is there a way to fix this? --The Eloquent Peasant (talk) 12:06, 23 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
