[edit]Has it survived?
Yes, the grand re-opening, in commemoration of the band's 45th anniversary is going to be held April 27-28. While I did not specifically look for Preservation Hall, on a recent trip to New Orleans I was very closeby, and all the buildings in the immediate area are intact. --MMan710 03:21, 28 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit]you'd think such a grand place, I mean, to someone a thousand miles away and who's never been anywhere near the city and still heard of the business.. you'd think they'd have at least one cite. I'd love to visit someday, sounds interesting.. they could totally boost their credibility by citing some stuff and making this a real article. Cs302b (talk) 06:49, 11 May 2010 (UTC)
- William Carter's book "Preservation Hall" has the info and much more. Infrogmation (talk) 07:31, 11 May 2010 (UTC)
Bill and Ted Face the Music
[edit]If that is not the real Preservation Hall in Bill and Ted Face the Music they did a remarkable job of duplicating it. I swear I spotted the bench where I sat in January. I'm sure the Hall has appeared in other media as well. That might deserve mention here. PurpleChez (talk) 15:48, 4 September 2020 (UTC)
