If we were to use "pound sterling" then we'd have to call it "The pound sterling in the South Atlantic and the Antarctic". (To see why, imagine the article was called "Dollar in the South Atlantic...") The incorrect decision was made, based on no consensus at all. "Pound sterling in the South Atlantic and the Antarctic" is ungrammatical. 86.135.27.76 (talk) 20:59, 26 May 2010 (UTC).[reply]
According to the Saint Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha article, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha are no longer dependencies of St. Helena. I updated the article to remove those references Crowston (talk) 23:48, 31 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
