I have to admit I think this is notable enough. I woudl suggest trying to rewrite it a little to assert notability and wikifying it. I don't think it is really advertising. There are many articles like this on wikiepdia, ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "Talk"? 19:41, 4 November 2007 (UTC)

Article split
[edit]I have created an article for the Shawholm ground on the basis that it is notable in its own right, having staged first-class matches. The "Historic moments" section that was formerly here forms the basis of the new article, as that section provided details of notable matches payed at Shawholm, but mainly not involving Poloc CC directly. I have retained details of the 1955 televised match, as this did involve the club. Jellyman (talk) 09:25, 31 October 2016 (UTC)
