Polo Jeans Co
[edit]Please do not add Polo Jeans Co to the list of brands any more. The denim license was bought back by the company and is now Polo Denim for men and Lauren Jeans Co. for women. Dbloys 20:24, 26 April 2007 (UTC)
- I think that it should be added and noted as being discontinued. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.118.239.121 (talk) 23:35, 28 October 2008 (UTC)
Recent edit
[edit]I have recently tried to flesh out the article to give it some more substance and information, but I'm not sure that I got the formatting right. Anyone who has some experience in that department is free to rearrange, but try to keep the content intact. Thanks Dbloys 14:06, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
Inaccuracy
[edit]Black Label Suits and Sportcoats are not made by Corneliani. Corneliani makes Blue Label Suits and Sportcoats. Purple Label is (now) made by St. Andrews of Italy. There's an additional grade between the Blue and Purple labels - it has a blue label but does not say polo - which is made by Cantarelli.
You might add that Purple Label shoes are made by Edward Green, and Polo shoes are mostly by Crockett and Jones, though there has been a recent proliferation of Made in Italy Polo shoes, the manufacturer of which is completely unknown. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.172.87.2 (talk) 20:49, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
- Unless something changed Chaps is not exclusively available at Kohl's. Chaps is available at JCPenney and Chaps tuxedos have, at least in the past, been available at tuxedo shops. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.247.66.21 (talk) 13:12, 28 March 2010 (UTC)
Lifestyle company?

This article is written like an advertisement
[edit]This article is full of self-serving quotes not defended with outside citations:
"Ralph Lauren Boutiques pride themselves on their adherence to the unique and insurmountable aesthetic and lifestyle of Ralph himself, so it was no surprise when they introduced a selection of antique and vintage pieces displayed in tandem with the lifestyle apparel and accessories that define the brand."
"Club Monaco: The brand’s signature clean and modern style gives classics an update through great design and a current sensibility. Club Monaco is the lifestyle destination for today’s urban professional."
Etc.
I added a {{advert}} tag to reflect that.

Semi-formal?
[edit]Surely it is inaccurate to say that Polo make semi-formal clothing. Casual? Yes. Informal? Maybe. Semi-formal? Citation needed. 78.86.61.94 (talk) 04:33, 3 December 2011 (UTC)
