An Ethernet Cable is a REALLY bad example

At the risk of piling on - I was surprised to see an Ethernet cable as an example of Poka-yoke. At first glance I thought it was a "before" poka-yoke example. The reason is this - while the Ethernet cable cannot be plugged in upside down, a USB cable fits in the port just fine - so does a telephone cable. A better example might be a Lightning cable - it doesn't matter what orientation it is, it works either way and you can't plug a USB, telephone or Ethernet cable into the port. — Preceding unsigned comment added by MichaelCrayne (talk • contribs) 00:58, 19 February 2016 (UTC)

You can also use a straight Ethernet cable when you need a crossover or vice versa (although newer equipment can often compensate for this internally). I'd suggest showing both ends of XLR audio cable - you can't connect an input to an input or an output to an output because the cable is different at each end. Rjmunro (talk) 10:40, 24 July 2016 (UTC)
